What advice do you have for pre-health aggies?
One piece of advice I have for pre-health students is to explore different health professions and to be open to different careers. It’s important to explore things you are interested in and figure out what you like and dislike. In the end, you want to be happy with the healthcare field you choose and ensure it is the right fit for you!
Is there anything you wish you would have done differently in your pre-health career?
During my first year, I wish I became more involved at UC Davis. It was hard to do this online, and I was scared to put myself out there and discover different opportunities related to my major. I mostly just focused on my classes and my part-time job at the time instead of applying for things I was interested in at Davis.
What has been your favorite memory at UC Davis?
My favorite memory at UC Davis was my first quarter on campus. It felt surreal to be on campus for the first time and I loved having discussions and lectures in person. I also met so many new people and found my current best friends!
