What advice do you have for pre-health aggies?

First get comfortable with your classes and workload before adding on extracurricular activities and research projects! It will pay in the long run if you are comfortable with new studying methods and teaching styles because you won’t have to worry about retaking classes or improving your GPA with our classes.

Is there anything you wish you would have done differently in your pre-health career?

I wish I enjoyed the city of Davis more and tried new and different activities! As a pre-med, I was focused on doing everything to be a strong applicant for medical school but this also meant that I had to put behind my passions and hobbies outside of medicine. There are so many unique organizations and opportunities to try new things at Davis so I recommend just trying something new and having fun when you can! And make new friends along the way!

What has been your favorite memory at UC Davis?

My favorite memory at UC Davis was partaking in BPSHI clinics at local Sikh temples where I was able to work with people of my community and form community relationships!
