Join Health Professions Advising for an intensive, Summer Pre-Med Bootcamp consisting of daily pre-med-related workshops featuring HPA advisors and guest speakers! The 2026 program will take place Monday through Friday from July 6th - 28th. Workshops will be hosted via Zoom from 12:10pm - 1:30pm. Attendance for every session is not mandatory, join when you can! Fridays will feature virtual visits with medical schools* and Monday to Thursday will feature presentations, workshops, or guest speaker on relevant topics including:
- Gaining experiences
- Gaining letters of recommendation
- GPA Recovery

Note: HPA workshops are free and open to all UC Davis admitted students, current students, & alumni. For 2026 there will be a limited number of free registration spots for non-UCD college students.

2026 Certificate Information
If you attend at least 45 minutes of 14 or more sessions you will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. A google form will be available at the end of the bootcamp programming to apply for the certificate. (When logging in with Zoom please use the same name and email when possible to help with attendance tracking.)
The Certificate of completion can be added to your application to medical school to demonstrate your passion for medicine, what you learned, and how it impacted your journey.

Zoom links and locations will be sent to those who register. HPA staff will be available in the chat to answer questions and provide additional information throughout bootcamp!
Each session will begin at approximately 12:10 pm. Please note a waiting room will be enabled and you will need to login to your zoom account to join the meeting. We encourage joining early in order to ensure you are able to login. Sessions will be hosted live and not recorded.
In-person sessions will require an additional registration as space is limited. Registration will be available closer to the event date.
