After receiving my undergraduate degree at UC Davis, I completed both medical school and pediatric residency training at the Keck School of Medicine (USC). I am board certified in Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

I have been with Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) since 1999 and previously served as the regional chief of pediatrics. I continue an active pediatric office practice at the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center as a retired SCPMG partner emeritus.

I am passionate about joining the HPA Advisory Board and I hope to give back to the students of UC Davis. UC Davis gave me an excellent education and pre-med experience that led to my very successful career as a Pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente. I am hoping that my shared experiences will benefit students considering a career in healthcare.
