Becoming a Physician Scientist

Are you interested in pursuing a physician-scientist pathway? Come learn about careers as a clinician-scientist combining patient care with research, as well as UCD SOM’s ARC-MD and MD-PhD pathways. You will hear from Glenn Yiu, MD, PhD - UCD Director of Davis-Based Medical Research - who is a retina surgeon and translational biologist working at both Davis and Sacramento campuses.

This is a great opportunity for attendees to explore the different ways you can be involved in research as a medical student, and learn about the physician-scientist preparation and pathway.
