Peer Advisor
Khushi is a second-year Economics major on the pre-med track. On campus, Khushi is a Redwood SEED Scholar mentor, does research at the wet lab, and volunteers with a student-run clinic. When she isn’t working on campus, she loves to hike with her friends, try new matcha spots, and go to concerts. She looks forward to the opportunity to support students pursuing their health professional goals and is excited to share the resources and experiences that have shaped her own pre-med journey at UC Davis.
What advice do you have for pre-health aggies?
Don't compare your journey to everyone else's. Stay organized, plan ahead, and remember to make time for the people and activities that keep you happy.
What is the biggest lesson you've learned during your pre-health career so far?
I've learned not to count myself out before anyone else does. Some of my favorite opportunities came from applying even when I wasn't sure I'd get them.
What has been your favorite memory at UC Davis?
My favorite memory at UC Davis was exploring Davis during my first few weeks of freshman year and experiencing what it felt like to finally be a college student.
What are you most excited about working at HPA?
I'm excited to meet new students and hopefully make the pre-health path feel a little less overwhelming by supporting them as they work toward their goals and dream careers.
