Jeannette Ilyev will be advising students on the pre-med track, both MD and DO. Jeannette transferred to UC Davis in the fall of 2016 and recently graduated with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. Before transfering, Jeannette spent two years volunteering in an Emergency Department. Once at UC Davis, she interned at the Cardiothoracic Step-Down Unit at UCDMC, joined the logistics team of the UCD Pre-Health Conference, mentored two student via the WiSE program, and volunteered at JVMC, a student run clinic that serves vulnerable populations in Oak Park, Sacramento. As a first generation immigrant and college student, Jeannette had to create her “own road map for college.” She hopes to help students through HPA by guiding them to resources she once had to find on her own.
