Zeltzin Serrano

  • Coordinator
Zeltzin is a Fourth-Year English major with a possible emphasis on Creative Writing and she hopes to attend Podiatry School. She is the 2019-2020 Pre-Health Ambassador Network Coordinator and she is also an intern at the UC Davis Sports Medicine Student Internship where she is able to work along athletes and Health Care Professionals within the realm of sports related injuries. She also helps coordinate the High School Pre-Health Symposium. In the past, she has also been part of First-Year Aggie Connections as a Peer Mentor.

Isabel Tan

Isabel is a third year Psychology with Biological emphasis major, who wants to pursue a career in nursing. She volunteers for and is involved with the Education and Outreach Committee for The Pantry, as well as various Fil-Am clubs on campus.

James Barrie

  • Ambassador
James is a third year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major with hopes in becoming a Dentist. James has shadowed dentists and attended dental seminars. He loves the support that HPA provides, as they provide endless information to students on how to achieve their dreams.

Jonathan Wu

  • Ambassador
Jonathan is a 4th year studying Cognitive Science with a Neuroscience Emphasis and hopes to attend dental school. In addition to being a Pre-Health Ambassador, he is a moderator for the UC Davis Pre-Health Conference and provides IT management for the College of Engineering. He also volunteers at dental events, such as CDA Cares, a program that provides free dental services for those in need.

Nikita Sanghavi

Nikita is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major. She aspires to pursue medicine and hopes to practice with a strong focus on patient-centered care. In addition to being a Pre-Health ambassador, she is a member of Willow Clinic, which provides care to the homeless population in Sacramento. She is excited to help give students the tools they need to overcome challenges as a first year pre-health student and show them what an amazing place UC Davis is!

Edmond Ling

Edmond is a fifth year Global Disease Biology major and is pre-med. He is currently involved with Paul Hom Asian Clinic, one of the student-run clinic at UC Davis that provides services to the underserved community of Sacramento . He is also involved in a plant research lab and also participated in HRI.

Huda Nauman

  • Ambassador
Huda is a third-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major who hopes to attend medical school in the future. At HPA, she advises for medicine and nursing, and is a part of the Pre-Health Ambassador Network. She is also currently a mentor for the UC Davis CBS Mentorship Program. In her free time, Huda enjoys drawing, spending time with her friends, and cooking.

Victoria Lee

Victoria is a third year Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior major with a minor in Asian American Studies. She would like to pursue a career in family medicine, and be able to make changes in our healthcare system such that people are able to have access to health services. She is currently involved with Paul Hom Asian Clinic, one of our student run clinics at UC Davis, serving as a patient advocate that provides translation services for the patients. She is also a First-Year Experience peer advisor in the residence hall. Some of the the things I enjoy in my free time is playing badminton with my friends and family, and going on backpacking and hiking trips to the Sierras. 

Chris Lee

Chris is a fourth year majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and a minor in Psychology. He hopes to go to a medical school in future. In addition to being a Pre-Health Ambassador, Chris volunteers at UC Davis Medical Center through HRI and is a summer volunteer for Bayanihan Clinic, one of student run-clinics that provides primary care to the diverse, underserved communities of the Greater Sacramento area. In his free time, he likes to take a nap.

Mai Yer Thao

Mai Yer Thao is a fourth year Psychology major with an emphasis in biology. She aspires to become a Physician Assistant in the future. She is currently the president of the UC Davis Undergraduate Psychology Association, and a member of the UC Davis Pre-Physician Assistant club.
