In addition to being a co-coordinator for PHAN, she is also a pre-dental peer advisor for HPA. She also helps coordinate the High School Pre-Health Symposium and also volunteers at dental events whenever she can. She is also a member of the Davis Pre Dental Society. She joined PHAN in order to help younger students on their pre-health path and was happy to also make great friends along the way.

Kristie Nguyen

  • Co-Coordinator
Kristie is a fourth year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major with a psychology minor. In the future, she hopes to attend medical or podiatry school. Within HPA, she is a co-coordinator for the Pre-Health Ambassador Network and helps coordinate the High School Pre-Health Symposium. Currently, she is an intern for the Sports Medicine Student Internship Program at UC Davis, focusing on physical therapy and on-field management alongside athletes and athletic trainers. In the summer of 2018, Kristie studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Her passions include photography, traveling, and baking. Kristie hopes to provide pre-health students with the right resources to help them in their pre-heath journey.

Aside from being an ambassador for Pre-Health Ambassador's Network, Andrew is the president of R.I.V.E.R. (Recognizing Illnesses Very Early & Responding), a public health advocacy group, and a research assistant in Dr. Falbe's lab, who conducts research on sugary beverage consumption in a variety of populations. Born and raised in Australia, Andrew enjoys being active in the sun whether that be running or hiking. He also loves music and plays the viola in music ensembles. Andrew appreciates the synergistic and friendly environment HPA provides for students in support of pursuing health related professions.
